Moving to a new area can present you with plenty of opportunities as well as challenges. Getting used to your new surroundings can be both of these things. While it can be hard to figure out where everything is located, it is also the chance to try new things, and have convenient access to amenities and attractions. If you've just moved to Raleigh you’re living in apartments near PNC Arena, you may find that the latter outweighs the former. For a closer look into what this area has to offer, take a look at the quick guide below.

PNC Arena

As a resident of this neighborhood, it’s hard to overlook the gem of the area. PNC Arena is a multi-functional indoor venue that plays host to a wide variety of entertainment events. Sports are the main draw here, with the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and the NC State Wolfpack basketball teams calling this place home. Outstanding musical acts also make this a stop on tour, as it can hold huge audiences. Other interesting events also take place here, including ice dancing performances and professional wrestling matches, making this a top spot for entertainment.

Shopping

It always helps to move into an area where you can do your shopping at the pace you choose; whether you have a full day of errands or you’re just treating yourself, it is better to have stores nearby. Fortunately, the PNC Arena area has several great options for shopping. Most notably, there are two local malls. The first is Cary Towne Center Mall, which has a wide variety of stores, covering clothing, footwear, toys, electronics, and more. The other major shopping center is Crabtree Valley Mall, which is home to several department stores, a food court, and several big-name retailers that you typically find in malls.

Dining

Let’s face it: you don’t always want to make your own meals. That’s another part of why this neighborhood is so appealing. The dining options here are plentiful, attracting those from other parts of town. No matter what you’re craving, you can probably find it here. Backyard Bistro, which is right across the way from the arena, offers American eats with a Southern twist. But just because you’re in North Carolina doesn’t mean barbecue is your only option. Asian fusion places like Spring Rolls and the fast-Venezuelan cuisine of Guasaca are available here to keep things interesting, and you can get takeout or eat your food in the dining room.

Breakfast and brunch at Pam’s Farm House can really start your weekend mornings off the right way, with made-to-order omelets, French toast, hearty breakfast sandwiches, and pancakes, while Wade Park Cafe is great for a quick weekday bite. Options include a variety of sandwiches made on freshly baked bread, pasta dishes, salads, and house-made baked goods to end your lunch on a sweet note.

As you can see, making your home in apartments near PNC Arena means you have plenty of great places within your reach. Check them out and find your new favorite spot!
